As our newest neighbours reach our shores they will require our holistic assistance to meet their myriad of pressing needs. Bible Society Australia has partnered with welfare support agencies such as Anglicare to address the physical needs of these refugees and to ensure that the refugee’s spiritual welfare is also being met. It is essential that we welcome and embrace our newest residents by equipping them with the greatest freedom message there is – the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1

There is no greater necessity to these Christians than the spiritual support that can be found in God’s precious word, the Bible.

It has never been more important that we stand together in a show of support during this crisis and show God’s love to those who are suffering. With your generous support today, we can provide Bibles in the native language of the refugees coming to Australia. Many of the Bibles we are providing will be bilingual (both English and their native tongue) to help them learn the English language as well as learn about God’s love for them.

The average cost to provide this type of Bible is only $15 each.
